Westwood is home to the legend of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox. When the Red River Lumber Company moved west from Minnesota, it brought with it the legend of Paul and Babe and established one of the most technologically advanced townships in the country – right down to the steam heated sidewalks!
